Gallery Presentation

Wilde is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2015 in Geneva by Barth Pralong and Sébastien Maret. With a 30-year heritage, Wilde is a cornerstone of the Swiss and international art scene, encouraging a diverse programme of established and emerging artists working in a variety of media.
In addition to the exhibition programme, the gallery's commitment to cultural production extends to the publication of exhibition catalogues and artist monographs, collaboration on international public projects and involvement in acquisitions and museum loans worldwide.
In 2019, Wilde expanded its presence by opening its second gallery space in Basel. Designed by esteemed French architect Andrée Putman, the space invites artists and the gallery team to develop large-scale projects and exhibitions that align with its unique design. The following year, Wilde inaugurates a private showroom in Zurich, which focuses on exhibiting high-quality works from the secondary market.
In 2024, Wilde's flagship gallery moved to a historic building in the centre of Geneva, providing the city with a dynamic new cultural centre. Spanning 1,000 m2 over two floors, the gallery is expanding its exhibition spaces, allowing our artists to embark on even more ambitious projects. In addition, the new venue introduces the Project Room, a space reserved for artists and their friends to present innovative work. In addition to our exhibition programme, the new Geneva location introduces La Petite Librairie, a reading space dedicated to showcasing leading publications and limited editions. Adjacent to the library, the gallery houses Anouch, a restaurant offering culinary delights and a refined wine list amidst works of art.
