Gallery Presentation
Husk Gallery is a contemporary Belgian art gallery based in Brussels. It was founded by art historian Ingrid Van Hecke, who was associated with KU Leuven University.The gallery focuses on new and strong ideas on contemporary painting and drawing by highly talented contemporary artists. Each year, Husk Gallery presents about five to six exhibitions in its gallery space in Rivoli Brussels with emerging and established contemporary artists, both from Belgium and abroad. In addition to its exhibition programme, Husk Gallery publishes catalogues in close collaboration with the represented artists, with a view to promoting and distributing their work. The gallery also organises site-specific exhibitions to promote its artists beyond the gallery space.
