Gallery Presentation
Galerie C defends a humanist and generous vision of art. It aspires to sincere exchanges with its public and is committed to working closely with and for its artists - through off-site exhibitions, publications and by accompanying them in institutional exhibitions. Galerie C celebrates encounters and dialogue through a variety of media and risk-taking, presenting authentic and singular universes established through approaches that it considers fundamental above all else. Manifest realities, dreamy lucidities and visionary looks combine to move the seasons and the spirit of Galerie C.
Galerie C is an independent contemporary art space in Neuchâtel (Switzerland), founded in 2011 by Christian Egger. A Paris branch opened in September 2020. Located in Paris, in the heart of the Marais district, and designed as a continuation of its large Swiss space (around 400m2 of exhibition space), this smaller branch has been conceived as a project space. It should provide an opportunity for the gallery team to think about new ways of presenting its artists, as well as programming exhibitions that resonate with events in Switzerland, contemporary art fairs and the institutional exhibitions of the artists represented.
